Granted, plot has never been a strong suit of such games, but it is still quaint to see cutscenes from the past still looking the way they do in 2021. If you are already familiar with the overarching plots in each of the games, you are stepping into old territory with the Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection. Two members of the government, Mizuki McCloud and Ishigami.

Surely the old age sticks out as blocky characters and empty levels but the action is still eventful, bloody, and atmospheric. The gameplay in its entirety is looking pretty stylish with the cleaned textures and high resolution. Many of the problems that plagued the initial releases of the later games are still present in this collection, and Team Ninja has not adequately addressed them even for a new release. Ninja Gaiden 3 is the sequel to 2008's Ninja Gaiden II. In the second and third Ninja Gaiden, the video scaling is better, thanks to the better source material. However, while it is a blessing to have these Ryu Hayabusa games in a modern console experience, it appears that old habits die hard. The Ninja Gaiden series is respected and beloved across the entire gaming world, and has sold 6.8 million units in total.In this collection, the three titles from the series which are included are: NINJA GAIDEN Sigma (released in 2007), NINJA GAIDEN Sigma 2 (released in 2009), and NINJA GAIDEN 3: Razor’s Edge (released in 2012). The inclusion of Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, and Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge is an absolute whirlwind of action and intense combat designed for white-knuckled fun. At first glance, the Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection offers a great ton of value based on its legacy alone.
